Vetiver (vetiver also once wrote) is a common name designating ambiguous in French plant of the family Poaceae (Gramineae). These include several species of Chrysopogon (and formerly placed in the genus Vetiveria). We know a dozen species growing in the tropics. The best known is Chrysopogon zizanioides grown mainly on the Indian subcontinent. Two other species are commonly cultivated: Chrysopogon nigritanus (Southern Africa) and Chrysopogon nemoralis (Southeast Asia). The plant is in the form of large green tufts, including root, developing vertically, can reach depths of up to three mètres. C is mainly the root that Europeans know. The word vetiver, appeared in the French language at the beginning of the nineteenth century, was borrowed from the Tamil vettiveru, probably through English. It is called khus khus in several parts of India and Xieng Geng Sao Chinese. After distillation, the roots of vetiver guerlain provides a very thick conifer species used in perfumery. The vetiver oil belongs to the family of olfactory woodlands. It is an essence to the fine flavor and complex woody, aromatic, green, sometimes slightly smoky. vetiver guerlain is mainly used in fragrances for men, less frequently in women's fragrances vetiver guerlain. The perfumer Guerlain in 1959 created a fragrance for men called Vetiver. More recently, Dominique Ropion creates "extraordinary Vetiver" for Editions de Parfums Frederic Malle, using a molecular method for extracting unique [réf. nécessaire]. In perfumery, it uses three different varieties of vetiver guerlain roots: vetiver guerlain Bourbon (one of the most popular), and vetiver guerlain Haiti vetiver guerlain from Java (with slightly more smoke smell). But vetiver guerlain has other uses, probably more important than the perfume. Farmers in southern India and Nigeria the plant to delineate their plots, it was discovered in recent years that this practice was actually very helpful to prevent soil erosion. Vetiver hedges also allow the soil to retain moisture, stabilize dams, rehabilitate vacant land and may even prevent the contamination of natural resources. Very inexpensive, resistant to most diseases, vetiver guerlain can be planted even in little wet lands, contrary to what was previously thought. Therefore a network was created in 1989 to educate and help farmers and governments from Africa, Asia and Latin America, as well as NGOs, to develop the planting of vetiver guerlain hedges. vetiver guerlain can also get cheap stubble and straw, and can also be fed to cattle. His roots also have medicinal properties, especially in the treatment of certain skin ailments. Copyright Text is available under Creative Commons attribution share alike, other conditions may apply.
